Eagles News · Wrestlers Compete at Semi-State, Boys Basketball drops 2 over the weekend

A record setting 3 wrestlers made it all the way to East Chicago High – the site of Semi-State.  Only one wrestler in program history had made it this far up to now.  With 7 wrestlers making it to the regional round it has been quite a year for the Eagles.  Senior Tristian Robinson, Senior Mac Smart and Junior Tristian Cain should be congratulated on an outstanding season along with the rest of the team.  It was one for the books and next season looks pretty bright.  The MS team is undefeated with another 3 weeks to compete.

Boys basketball played Clinton Central on Friday night for the last home game of the season.  The Bulldogs came out hot in the first quarter and never looked back.  Faith started 3 freshman in the game and the experience of the Bulldogs proved to be too much for the Eagles.

Last night the boys traveled to Tri-Central to face the Trojans.  Once again hot outside shooting led to a very competitive matchup.  The score was tied at the half, but late into the 3rd period Tri-Central began to pull away.  The Trojans were able to ice the game down the stretch with clutch free-throw shooting.  The boys go back-to-back again this coming weekend with Tri-County on Friday and Rossville on Saturday.
