Eagles News · Wrestling Season Wrap-up, It was a RECORD SETTING YEAR


Wrestling season ended this past weekend with 3 wrestlers competing in Semi-State.  The biggest impact for this program is the dedication of the coaches and the discipleship that takes place off the mat.  This is a Family, and anyone who is a part of it knows this is the case.  We are so proud of all the accomplishments the Lord has allowed and look forward to what the future holds.

Had 1 wrestler accept Christ this season – Cameron Brown

Sam Robinson completed a perfect regular season (15-0, 15 pins)

Tristan Robinson Named Homecoming king with 2 other wrestlers (Johnie Barton, Jameson Jin) on the homecoming court

14 wrestlers had a winning record (School record)

12-6 dual meet record (including 2 shut outs)

4th straight season with a winning record

5 students named to academic all state (School record)

9 wrestlers placed at sectionals (School Record)

Placed 5th as a team at sectionals – (School Record)

7 wrestlers qualified for Regionals (School Record)

Had highest placer at Regionals – Mac Smart 2nd (School Record)

Placed 9th as a team at Regionals (School Record)

Coach Kuhn named Regional Coach of the year (includes all 22 schools in our region regardless of school size)
