Eagles News · Boys Basketball goes 1-1 on the weekend / Draw Clinton Central in Sectionals

In the Friday night matchup FCS traveled to Tri-County to take on the Cavaliers.  The Eagles never trailed in the game, leading wire to wire while holding the home team to 38 points.  The Eagles put up 53 to earn their 6th win on the year.

In the Saturday Match-up the Eagles traveled to local rival Rossville.  Always a hard fought game, this one would be no different. With the halftime score separating the teams by only 3 points it came down to some clutch defense and free-throw shooting down the stretch.  The Hornets prevailed by a score of 64-54 in the end.

The Eagles finish up the season this week with 2 games on the road and then on to Section 54 play the following week with a Tuesday match-up against Clinton Central.  Clinton Central defeated the Eagles in their match-up earlier in the year.
